Loxahatchee, FL --- Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center (VTRC) is pleased to announce that bestselling mystery writer Tami Hoag will be the celebrity hostess for this year's Benefit Auction Dinner & Dance. This annual fundraising event will be held on Friday, February 19, 2010, at the International Polo Club Palm Beach in Wellington, FL. Hoag is a professional dressage rider and has also written 14 New York Times Bestsellers, including her newest novel, Deeper Than The Dead.

Hoag recently declared her professional status at the beginning of January, and will begin competing in Grand Prix classes with Bacchus de Light in February after an 11-city book tour for Deeper Than The Dead. She is most well known for novels such as Still Waters Dark Horse, Kill the Messenger, and The Alibi Man. She is a very active member of the equestrian community and has included parts of that lifestyle in her novels.
The 2010 Benefit Auction Dinner & Dance will be an exciting event, featuring the addition of an Argentinean Asado to the event's "Gone Riding" theme. Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in the "So You Think You Can Ride" Mechanical Bull Riding Contest. The contest includes a team auction, so come ready to support your favorite celebrity rider.
The live auction items at this year's event will include the "Polo Experience" package, tickets to the 2010 World Equestrian Games, and a package from Lazcar International.
