Equine Canada Announces Two New Additions to its National Office

July 3, 2009

Ottawa, Ontario --- Equine Canada is pleased to introduce two new faces to the equine community.

Isabel Aube has been hired as Equine Canada’s Manager of Sport—Coaching. With Aube’s extensive experience and passion for working with coaches and athletes, her strong skills in both official languages and her passion for horses, Aube will quickly make an impact at Equine Canada.

Questions regarding coaching, Long-Term Equestrian Development, development of new coaching programs and the management of the current ones, or any other coaching matter can be directed to Aube at iaube@equinecanada.ca.

Also full-time to the Equine Canada office is Wendy Gayfer. The popular disciplines of reining, driving, endurance, vaulting and breed sports will have Gayfer as their program coordinator—non-Olympic disciplines. Gayfer has assisted for the past few months in a similar role but will now continue on in the position full-time. For additional information on Equine Canada’s non-Olympic disciplines, Gayfer can be reached at wgafer@equinecanada.ca.

“I am pleased to welcome Isabelle Aube to Equine Canada and to congratulate Wendy Gayfer on her new permanent role,” noted Director of Sport, Craig Andreas. “The transition to the new NCCP and Long-Term Equestrian Development are important projects that will benefit from the addition of Isabelle’s experience and enthusiasm and with Wendy, we can now provide additional support for the development and growth of the non-Olympic disciplines.”

Please join Equine Canada in welcoming the new staff to the Equine Canada office team. Equine Canada wishes them all the best in each of their respective positions.
