The large trade fair will feature a wide range of equine products including tack, trailers, hats, boots, fencing, supplements as well as information booths featuring Breed Associations and Riding Clubs and Associations.

We are pleased to welcome the following clinicians to this year’s expo:

George Morris – Jumping: No one in the world has coached more Olympic riders and international stars than George H. Morris, the legendary horseman who’s been the US show jumping team’s chef d'equipe since 2005. For almost 50 years, Morris has trained riders ranging from talented teenagers to Olympic medalists, as well as conducting a never-ending series of clinics around the world. Morris became an equestrian star at age 14 by winning the nation's two most prestigious equitation championships in the same year, the AHSA Medal Final and the ASPCA Maclay Final. He was a member of the Gold Medal-winning United States Equestrian Team at the 1959 Pan American Games and the Silver Medal-winning US Team at the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome. He then turned his attention to teaching and training, although he returned to international competition in the late 1980s, winning the world's richest grand prix.

Cindy Ishoy – Dressage: Six time Canadian Olympic competitor Cindy Ishoy, began her riding career in Germany as a teenager after swimming competitively from the ages of 10 to 13. Only a few years later, she was a member of the gold medal winning team and placed fourth individually at the 1971 Pan Am Games in Columbia. Her Olympic debut was the following year in Munich, when she was only 20 years old. In 1979 she was the first Canadian to win an international dressage Grand Prix, and was second at the 1988 World Cup in the Netherlands aboard her great Hanoverian partner, Dynasty. The pair were also members of Canada's bronze medal winning dressage team at the 1988 Seoul Olympics, where they placed fourth individually. Since 2000, Cindy has been paired with Proton, a 10 year old German bred gelding. At the 2004 Athens Olympic Games, she and Proton were the top Canadian Dressage competitors and helped secure a team placing of ninth overall and moved Canada up one place in the international rankings. After winning both the Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Freestyle at the Canadian League World Cup Finals in 2005, Cindy again represented Canada at the World Cup Finals. She followed this with an impressive 11th place finish in the Grand Prix at the CDI3* Hagen, Germany out of a competitive field of 46 international competitors. After winning a berth to Canada's World Equestrian Games team, Cindy and Proton traveled with the team to Europe where they scored top ten finishes in both the Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Freestyle at the CDI3* Pompadour in France. Cindy was also a member of the Canadian team at the 2006 World Equestrian Games and the Canadian Representative at the World Cup Finals in Amsterdam.

Jeff Morse – Driving: Jeff Morse is a trainer, clinician, author and Morgan Horse breeder. Since 1974, Jeff has been breeding Morgans and training horses and ponies at Green Meads Farm in Richmond, MA. In addition to training & teaching carriage driving at all levels and to all breeds of horses, ponies and mules Jeff conducts driving clinics throughout the US and has been a regular speaker at The Driving Forum each spring. He is a well known and successful competitor at carriage competitions in the Northeast. In 2004 he was named Man of the Year by the American Morgan Horse Association and is the author of AMHA's "How to Buy a Morgan Horse" and "Teaching Your Horse to Drive". Jeff is Co-Chairman of the AMHA Carriage Committee, Chairman of the ADS Pleasure Driving Committee as well as a member of the USEF Pleasure Driving Committee and the USEF Morgan Committee.

Jonathan Field – Horsemanship: Jonathan’s love of horses began early, and he can’t remember when they weren’t part of his life. His earliest memories are of competing in horse shows, both English and Western. As a young man, he cowboyed for the Quilchena Cattle Company. Shortly after the cowboy experience, he suffered an industrial accident. Horses were instrumental in his recovery and it was then that he decided to make horses his life. Jonathan has been privileged to study under some great horsemen, including Ronnie Willis, Ray Hunt and World Reining Champion, Craig Johnson. His greatest mentor, however, is Pat Parelli. It was Pat who impressed upon Jonathan the fundamental truth about horsemanship: the dignity of the horse must always come first. Jonathan’s most important teachers, however, have been his horses. Through them, he has learned how important it is to see things from a different point of view and to understand that of all characteristics of great horsemen, humility may be the most important. Being a great horseman goes beyond loving horses and being a good rider. A great horseman strives to understand and relate to horses using their own language. Jonathan is just as passionate about teaching people about horses. A natural presenter, he has honed his skills as a clinician. Presented with the 2005 Horse Council of B.C.’s New Innovative Business/Service Award, Jonathan has proven himself a gifted teacher.

Stacy Westfall – Reining & Horsemanship: Stacy Westfall, of Mt. Gilead, Ohio, is no stranger to the competition arena. She was the first woman to compete in and the first woman to win Road to the Horse--showcasing her horse training methods. Stacy is also a winner in the reining show pen. She's best known for her "mystery-rider" bridle-less freestyle ride. In 2003, National Reining Horse Association Futurity fans leapt to their feet after her bridle-less ride rated tops with the judges. She won without reins--and without so much as a neck rope. In 2005, Stacy won six key reining events without reins--including runs at Fiesta in the Park, the NRHA Eastern Affiliate Championship, The Tradition Freestyle Open, the Tulsa Reining Classic, the All American Quarter Horse Congress, and a repeat win at the NRHA Futurity. She repeated her Tulsa championship in 2006--without a saddle or bridle. At college in the University of Findlay's equestrian program, Stacy rode with top trainers such as Dan Huss and AQHA Professional Horseman of the Year, Clark Bradley. She also trained with Rusty Dare and Mike Flarida. Still, Stacy's daily inspiration and life-long training partner is husband Jesse--himself a well-known reining trainer and NRHA judge.

Dana Hokana – Western Pleasure & Horsemanship: Dana Hokana is one of the top female trainers in the Quarter Horse industry. She has trained multiple Western Pleasure circuit champions as well as futurity winners and horses to top ten placings in Western Pleasure at both the All American Quarter Horse Congress and AQHA World Championship shows. Riding her stallion, Invested Dimension, she captured an AQHA Reserve World Championship in Senior Western Pleasure. Dana has also released her own video series entitled, The Winning Strides Series, which is designed to educate horse owners and riders from the basics of horse handling and horsemanship, to competing at high levels in the show arena. Skilled at teaching in a relaxed, non-intimidating way she carries these traits over to her video series. She has been a clinician at a number of horse expos as well as at the Montana State University, and also conducts numerous private clinics throughout the year. Dana is a member of the AQHA Professional Horsemen’s Association.

Steve Rother - Horsemanship: Steve Rother, is one of the brightest Horsemanship clinicians in the US today, he has previously educated and entertained you as a clinician in the Mane Event Trainer’s Challenge. This talented young man has combined the knowledge of generations of horsemen with a natural ability to work with horses to create Steve Rother Horsemanship. Known as “The Horse Teacher,” Steve is dedicated to all horse people who strive to teach their horses by educating themselves. He has a unique ability to teach and communicate to both horse and human. By blending education with entertainment, and utilizing equine psychology, Steve helps thousands each year unlock the potential of their equine dreams.

Robyn Hood - TTEAM & TTouch: Robyn began riding horses before she could walk and has competed successfully in Hunter, Jumper, Three-Day Eventing, Endurance, Western and more recently with Gaited horses. She is one of the leading clinicians teaching TTEAM and TTouch, developed by her sister Linda Tellington-Jones. Robyn travels throughout Canada, the US, Europe, South Africa and Australia teaching an alternative way of dealing with animals. TTEAM offers a training approach that encourages optimal performance and health, and presents solutions to common behavioral and physical problems. Robyn has been involved with Icelandic horses for many years and also helped found the Canadian Icelandic Horse Federation in 1979.

Doug Mills – Trainers Challenge: Three-time Mane Event Trainer’s Challenge Champion: Doug Mills has built his training skills and riding abilities over a lifetime of horsemanship. Born and raised on a working cattle ranch in Price, Utah, offered Doug a lifestyle that gave him the opportunity to observe horses and their instincts in their natural environment. This is the key to Doug's ability to read and communicate with horses. Doug credits many clinicians and trainers for the success of his program, but the horse is still his most influential teacher. Doug has a slew of success stories after more than a decade of teaching horses and riders in workshops and one-on-one sessions in Canada, the United States, and Europe. These include futurity wins and international and national championships. In 2005 Doug and his students have achieved 46 championships, 68 reserves, and nine gold medals in Reining, Working Cow Horse, Rodeo, Western pleasure, Western riding, Trail, Showmanship, Hunter Under Saddle, Jumping, and Dressage.

Ken McNabb – Trainers Challenge: Wyoming horseman and clinician Ken McNabb is regularly featured on RFD-TV and is well experienced in working with young horses, he has been a previous competitor in two Mane Event Trainers Challenges, as well as the well known colt starting competition “Road to the Horse” in Tennessee. In 1993, Ken became one of the first certified John Lyons Trainers and he began teaching his techniques in 1996. Since that time, he has taught thousands of students. Universally, his students agree that he is a master communicator who makes training easy to understand and workable for both young and old. Ken is committed to transferring his expertise to his students so that they can become the rider/trainer themselves. He believes that with the right training, mediocre horses can become good, and good horses can become great. He has always believed that any rider, and any horse, can find their best potential given the right opportunity. Ken's program is based on the Lyons method and over 25 years of experience in the saddle. Ken's knowledge of the total horse delivers a life-changing experience in the saddle. Ken will also be participating as a Judge in the Fort Worth, TX - Extreme Mustang Makeover this September,

Charles Wilhelm – Trainers Challenge: Internationally known horse trainer Charles Wilhelm is the creator of Ultimate Foundation Training, equine training techniques that combine the best of traditional, classical and natural horsemanship into a methodology that is applicable to every riding discipline. His extensive background of over 35 years includes Dressage, Working Cow Horse, Reining, Western Pleasure and Trail. He is known for his superb skills in communicating and motivating people as well as his astounding natural abilities with the horse. Charles recently participated in the Western States Mustang Challenge, which brings together thirty top horsemen and women and thirty wild American Mustangs.
