Tampa, FL --- The city of Tampa, Florida, will once again play host to the Tampa Equestrian Festival, starting on March 19, 2008, at the Bob Thomas Equestrian Center at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa.
The $200,000 Budweiser American Invitational CSI 4*, under the lights at Raymond James Stadium, on April 5, 2008, is again the grand finale to this year's festival.
Over the years, the American Invitational has been recognized as the crown jewel of American show jumping, and year in and year out, it has been one of its toughest tests.
The $200,000 Budweiser American Invitational, at Raymond James Stadium, brings together a star studded international group of equestrians to compete for one of the richest purses in all of show jumping. The unique invitation-only format assures the best possible starting field.

WHAT: Three-week hunter/jumper horse show circuit produced by Stadium Jumping, Inc. The 36th Annual $200,000 Budweiser American Invitational, presented by The Tampa Tribune and Sweetbay Supermarket is one of the premier show jumping events in the United States and benefits the Tampa Police Mounted Patrol. The $20,000 ASG Software Solutions USHJA International Hunter Derby will be held at Wrenwood Farms in Naples, FL. It is a High Performance Hunter class and will benefit the Naples Equestrian Challenge Therapeutic Center.

DIRECTIONS:
The Tampa Competitions will be held at the Bob Thomas Equestrian Center (Florida State Fairgrounds) Tampa, Florida. Horse Van and exhibitor entrance is at Orient Road and I-4. Westbound I-4 traffic should exit at U.S. 301. Turn Right (west) on Martin Luther King and go to stop light turn right (north) on Orient Road follow to Fairgrounds entrance on right. From I-75 north or south use Exit 52B. Take Martin Luther King Blvd west to Orient Road, turn right, competition showgrounds are ½ mile on the right.
